Own complex technical support requests from platform partners, triage production incidents, debug APIs, webhooks, and integrations, and resolve issues within SLAs. The role requires root-cause analysis, SQL and scripting, log and trace investigation, backend code reading, technical writing, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Partnerships, and Customer Support. The engineer will also improve runbooks, tooling, documentation, and self-service resources as partner volume scales.

Owns end-customer tax withholding and information reporting for a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Responsibilities include reviewing W-9 and W-8 documentation, applying FATCA and treaty rules, reconciling tax withholding, coordinating IRS deposits, preparing Forms 1099 and 1042-S, managing corrections, responding to tax inquiries, implementing regulatory changes, and documenting procedures and controls.

Lead high-priority cross-functional projects, including European expansion, while building the project management function. Manage timelines, dependencies, risks, stakeholders, and regulatory requests across finance, compliance, legal, and operations. Own or support controllership activities such as accounting, month-end close, tax compliance, treasury, internal controls, and audit preparation. Improve finance processes using NetSuite, strengthen accounting policies, and partner with executives and external advisors in a regulated, multi-entity fintech environment.
