Aprio seeks accounting students for paid Spring or Summer Tax or Audit internships. Interns perform hands-on client work—preparing tax returns, tax research, audit testing, internal control evaluation—while collaborating with partners and staff. Programs include professional development, networking, group projects, and hybrid in-office mentorship. Candidates must be on a CPA track and commit to no classes during the internship.

Lead complex corporate tax compliance, planning, advisory, and controversy engagements for domestic and multinational clients. Review tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provisions, research tax regulations, advise clients, manage engagement budgets and profitability, and supervise tax professionals. Build client relationships, support business development, and communicate technical tax matters clearly while ensuring timely, accurate deliverables.

Executes data solution workstreams for client engagements, including requirements gathering, data analysis, modeling, reporting, dashboards, integration, testing, documentation, and validation. Translates business questions into usable data outputs, assesses data quality and delivery risks, supports client adoption and training, coordinates assigned workstreams, and escalates project dependencies while improving analytics delivery assets and processes.
