Aprio seeks accounting students for paid Spring or Summer Tax or Audit internships. Interns perform hands-on client work—preparing tax returns, tax research, audit testing, internal control evaluation—while collaborating with partners and staff. Programs include professional development, networking, group projects, and hybrid in-office mentorship. Candidates must be on a CPA track and commit to no classes during the internship.

Lead complex corporate tax compliance, planning, advisory, and controversy engagements for domestic and multinational clients. Review tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provisions, research tax regulations, advise clients, manage engagement budgets and profitability, and supervise tax professionals. Build client relationships, support business development, and communicate technical tax matters clearly while ensuring timely, accurate deliverables.

Executes data solution workstreams for client engagements, including requirements gathering, data analysis, modeling, reporting, dashboards, integration, testing, documentation, and validation. Translates business questions into usable data outputs, assesses data quality and delivery risks, supports client adoption and training, coordinates assigned workstreams, and escalates project dependencies while improving analytics delivery assets and processes.

Manage technical tax credits and incentives (TC&I) engagements: lead credit calculations, eligibility analyses, modeling, and substantiation; review associate work; analyze clean energy credits and monetization options; evaluate bonus credit criteria; translate new guidance into engagement steps; coordinate timelines, budgets, and offshore training.

Leads national tax practice engagements, provides strategic client guidance, drives business development and revenue growth, expands market relationships, mentors talent, and supports firm-wide strategic direction. The Partner oversees complex client work, ensures service quality, develops high-performing teams, and contributes to practice expansion and operational effectiveness.

Leads Transaction Advisory Services engagements, providing strategic and technical client guidance, ensuring quality delivery, expanding market presence, developing referral networks, driving revenue growth, and building cross-firm partnerships. Recruits, mentors, and develops high-performing teams while supporting practice strategy, succession planning, client satisfaction, and long-term firm growth.

Manages client accounting delivery and strategic FP&A advisory for technology, SaaS, e-commerce, and startup clients. Reviews board-ready financials, builds budgets, forecasts, cash-flow models, scenario analyses, and KPI dashboards, and supports complex projects such as GAAP cleanup, cash-to-accrual conversions, and M&A readiness. Coordinates U.S. leads, offshore teams, and external advisors while developing scalable templates, SOPs, AI-enabled workflows, and team capabilities. Contributes to client expansion, proposals, networking, and business development.

Prepare and review complex U.S. international tax filings, apply international tax provisions, and provide inbound and outbound tax consulting. Advise on partnerships, M&A structuring, reorganizations, transfer pricing, and multinational tax planning. Draft technical memoranda, identify risks and opportunities, coordinate with domestic and international tax teams, manage engagement workflows, and respond to client requests.

Leads Aprio’s State Income Tax practice, overseeing strategy, revenue growth, profitability, client service, business development, operations, and talent development. Advises clients on multistate income tax matters including nexus, apportionment, combined reporting, tax planning, compliance, ASC 740, and controversy. The role manages key client relationships, develops scalable processes, monitors financial performance, builds referral networks, and mentors senior tax professionals while driving practice expansion and market leadership.

Lead end-to-end Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks implementations for multiple clients, including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support. Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, resources, documentation, and executive communications. Assess accounting and operational processes, design optimized workflows, coordinate stakeholders, support data migration and integrations, drive user adoption, and ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, regulatory requirements, and data security practices.

The Senior Application Developer is responsible for application design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance, mentoring developers, and managing client relationships while ensuring project delivery aligns with scope and budget.
