The role supports multiple claims teams, provides subject-matter expertise, maintains legal knowledge, and builds relationships with agencies, policyholders, employees, and defense counsel.

Leads commercial property and casualty underwriting operations, including team leadership, talent development, workload and staffing management, portfolio strategy execution, compliance with underwriting guidelines, process improvement, and performance optimization. Uses data-driven insights and market trends to improve underwriting results while collaborating with internal and external partners. Requires substantial middle-market underwriting experience, management capability, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.
