Teams at Alpaca

Build and scale a global payments and treasury platform: design and implement resilient, event-driven microservices, client-facing APIs, and distributed systems; work with cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, message brokers, and relational databases to support high-volume money movement and financial ledgers.

Process and reconcile domestic and international corporate actions (distributions, reorganizations, redemptions) across asset types; validate event details, liaise with external custodians/vendors, balance house and suspense accounts, research breaks, respond to related tickets, serve as SME, improve procedures, and assist automation with engineering.

The role involves managing the accounts product at Alpaca, focusing on KYC, identity verification, and API-driven account capabilities, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and partner adoption.
