Next Glass, a Charlotte-based software company serving the alcoholic beverage industry, announced its acquisition of Ekos, a local supply chain management platform for craft beverage producers. The deal allows Next Glass to integrate Ekos’ capabilities into its tech stack.

Ekos digitizes day-to-day operations for breweries, distilleries, cideries, wineries and cannabis beverage producers. Its platform incorporates inventory and production management tools and functionality for sales, B2B ordering and finance. It also integrates with various platforms like QuickBooks, Xero and Square to help businesses increase efficiency, reduce costs and scale revenue.

Next Glass is enhancing its software, data, e-commerce and marketing solutions with tools to streamline craft beverage production, manage inventory and enhance sales. Alongside the acquisition, Next Glass is freezing Ekos’ prices for the next two years in an effort to provide the latter’s customers with certainty and relief amid mounting supply chain pressures.
