About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Workplace Design Program Lead to drive the strategic development and implementation of enterprise-wide workplace design standards. This role will be reporting to the Global Head of Workplace Design within Corporate Properties Group (CPG).
The Workplace Design Program Lead will be responsible for translating business goals and workplace trends into spatial strategies that enhance employee experience, support organizational performance, and reflect our brand and culture across diverse work environments.
The ideal candidate brings a strong design sensibility, deep expertise in workplace strategy, and a proven ability to lead complex programs across multiple regions and stakeholders.
This position will sit at the intersection of design excellence innovation, and operational delivery - shaping how Wells Fargo employees work, collaborate, and connect.
In this role, you will:
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$120,400.00 - $262,600.00

In this role, you will:
- Lead the visioning, development, and execution of workplace design programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives, brand standards, and employee experience goals.
- Drive cross-functional engagement with real estate, technology, HR, and business units to deliver integrated workplace solutions.
- Develop and maintain global design standards, guidelines, and best practices that reflect industry trends, sustainability goals, and evolving ways of working.
- Manage program governance, including project pipeline visibility, design quality control, and resource planning across internal and external teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on design innovation, workplace trends, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E), and environmental branding strategies.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to pilot, refine, and scale workplace solutions, including test fits, design reviews, and program evaluations.
- Ensure design programs are inclusive, adaptable, and data-informed - leveraging workplace metrics and user feedback to guide improvements.
- Champion change management and stakeholder communications to build alignment and drive adoption of workplace design strategies.
- 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of experience in workplace design, architecture, or design strategy within a complex corporate or consultancy setting.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale workplace programs across geographies and functions.
- Deep knowledge of Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) sustainability frameworks (e.g., LEED, WELL), and inclusive design principles.
- Strong ability to synthesize technical, cultural, and business inputs into actionable design strategies.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities with grace and precision.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; relevant certifications a plus.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
