The HRIS Implementation Specialist supports the setup and implementation of HRIS applications, providing training and technical support to clients while ensuring compliance and efficiency within HR operations.
The RKL Virtual Workforce Strategies HRIS Specialist is a highly skilled role that supports, system builds and set-up, onboard clients, and maintain the organization’s HRIS applications and modules for client use. Provides specialized support to internal and external clients in the areas of human resources and technology. Responsible for performing advanced, specialized and administrative duties in a designated human resource program or area in an outsourced or project-based capacity.
- Responsible for implementation, installation, training content development, and conducting training for clients on the isolved platform for client use. Includes client onboarding, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Actively participate in client discovery, kick off and implementation calls.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all implementation steps. Assist with templates and input reconciliations. Run and test parallel payroll.
- Responsible for orienting all new clients through the new account set up process. Schedule and complete necessary new client on-site, telephone, or internet training to customer's satisfaction.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to internal and external HRIS users.
- Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for isolved users.
- Programs custom functions and documentation.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Collaborate with team members. Maintain regular and clear team communication with fellow implementation team members. Mentor, assist and train team members as required.
- Provide support and guidance for employee lifecycle. Deliver support and guidance to clients when complex, specialized, and sensitive situations and questions arise.
- Develops, revises and implements HRIS technology policies and procedures. Ensures program or section area is in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate large, medium, and small-sized business projects.
- Support RKL Virtual team and clients on workforce related projects and engagement planning and participate in the development of policies, procedures, metrics, reports, presentations and dashboards.
- Prepare client deliverables using a wide variety of written report styles and data visualization tools.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn various HRIS, payroll, performance management and talent management systems. Consulting on specialized and unique payroll and benefits scenarios for clients.
- Assists with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the program to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance system performance
- Conducts periodic audits of HRIS activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures.
- Manage own schedule, taking responsibility for role in completing work on time and within budget; strive to achieve appropriate realization.
- Assist with HRIS & Payroll development and framework design; Functionality and usability of employee lifecycle.
- Participates in regular HRIS trainings, professional development sessions or seminars.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for client employees.
- Analyze HRIS & Payroll data and generate reports to support decision-making processes
- Perform a self-review of work.
- Develop peer relationships throughout the firm and professional relationships within the service line and community.
- Represent RKL Virtual and firm through presentations and client training opportunities.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive and confidential information.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the firm at any time.
