The Role
The Workforce Management (WFM) team supports important operational components of Block's Compliance Operations and plays a critical role within the broader Compliance organization. The WFM team is responsible for capacity planning, real-time monitoring, and resource optimization across our compliance programs, including Transaction Monitoring, KYC, and Sanctions Screening. In this role as a Workforce Management Lead, you'll help shape how we scale and optimize our compliance operations workforce across Square, Cash App, and our other teams.
You Will
  • Maintain workforce management management policies and procedures aligned with Compliance Operations regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance processes to identify operational efficiencies while maintaining regulatory integrity
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to implement compliance-related workforce programs
  • Manage and track regulatory changes that impact workforce operations
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential compliance risks in workforce operations
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track important compliance metrics and workforce performance indicators
  • Use data analytics tools to improve workforce scheduling while maintaining compliance requirements
  • Create comprehensive reports for senior management on compliance status and operational efficiency
  • Provide guidance to team members on compliance matters

You Have
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance operations in financial services
  • Demonstrated experience with AML compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, and Power BI)
  • Experience in workforce management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Project management and organizational abilities
  • ACAMS certification or other relevant compliance certifications
  • Experience with SQL or other data query languages
  • Knowledge of workforce management software platforms
  • Experience in financial services or banking industry
  • Advanced degree in related field

The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

$101,500 - $152,300 USD

$94,400 - $141,600 USD
