Your contributions will help us fulfill our mission of advancing the background screening experience through visibility and insights, empowering our clients to make smarter, unbiased decisions.
We are seeking a Workday Systems Administrator to support the implementation and long-term success of Workday as our enterprise HCM platform. This is a foundational hire on the Business Applications team, focused on the technical administration, integrations, and security of Workday, and will play a key role in our initial implementation.
You will partner closely with HR, Finance, and an external Workday implementation partner to migrate from legacy HR systems, own the design and delivery of integrations, and establish scalable, well-governed technical operations post go-live.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT liaison for Workday during the implementation, ensuring strong alignment between the implementation partner, internal stakeholders, and enterprise architecture.
- Lead integration design, development, and testing, connecting Workday to systems such as payroll, identity management, benefits providers, NetSuite, and ATS.
- Own Workday tenant strategy and release readiness, including managing sandbox refreshes, validating updates, and ensuring technical readiness for new features.
- Configure and administer Workday security (roles, domains, policies) in alignment with IT controls and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and implementation partners to ensure clean data migration from legacy systems and support validation testing.
- Support system cutover and go-live readiness, including issue resolution, integration monitoring, and performance testing.
- Establish post-go-live technical support processes, including incident response, documentation, and change control for integrations and system-level updates.
- Partner in Workday governance and intake processes, aligning with HR (who owns configuration and process design) and Finance for shared system ownership.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Workday experience in an IT systems or technical admin capacity; experience supporting or implementing Workday a strong plus.
- Proficiency with Workday integration tools: Core Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIBs), REST/SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with tenant management, release coordination, and Workday security administration.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional implementation projects.
- Experience with data migration, validation, and working alongside third-party implementation teams.
- Knowledge of SSO and enterprise-level identity/access management practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in a Workday implementation, either as a core team member or technical SME.
- Workday Pro certification in Integration, Security, or Reporting.
- Experience working in environments with NetSuite, Lever, or payroll/benefits integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid implementation models using tools like Jira and Confluence.
Reporting Structure
- This role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Applications (IT) and partners closely with HR, Finance, and Implementation Consulting teams.
