About the Team:

AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue and pipeline-focused marketing team that encompasses demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR / AR, brand, customer marketing, website, content marketing, and events. At our core, we’re here to support AlphaSense’s growth, which we do by contributing to pipeline and revenue; developing a brand that’s widely known to the markets we serve; and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand.

About the Role: 

We are seeking a Website Developer, Marketing to join our web team. This is a technical, hands-on role that blends web development with marketing technology. You will be a key contributor to our web presence, focusing on building, maintaining, and optimizing our website while ensuring our marketing technology stack is properly integrated and configured.

You will work closely with web development, web strategy, and technical operations teams to build new features, improve performance, and manage marketing integrations. The ideal candidate is a developer at heart with a solid understanding of how web technology drives marketing initiatives.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, related field, or equivalent working experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js, TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks required
  • 4+ years of professional experience on a development team as a front-end developer or web developer with common languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS)
  • 3+ years of professional experience with APIs.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and a deep understanding of data layers, custom variables, and tags is required.
  • Experience working with Github or other version control services
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
  • Understanding of network diagnostics, hosting operations, and analytical tools
  • Understanding of web accessibility, usability, and performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience delivering projects cross-functionally
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with marketers, developers, and managers, ensuring all elements are received on time
  • Ability to customize websites without the use of extra themes or plugins
  • Experience in creating project estimates, defining scope requirements, and structuring projects.
  • Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms (experience with Sanity is a major plus).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, account-based marketing tools, and attribution platforms.
  • Experience with Vercel and a general understanding of web hosting and deployment environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and maintain features for our website, which is built on Next.js and Sanity.
  • Own web development for marketing-related web applications.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of various marketing and analytics tools on our website, primarily through Google Tag Manager.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data collection across platforms like Google Analytics and Marketo. Troubleshoot and resolve any data discrepancies or tracking issues.
  • Ensure proper setup of website events, such as form submissions, click tracking, and other event-based workflows.
  • Manage integrations between our website and key marketing platforms, such as Marketo, Demandbase, Bizible, CookieYes, and Qualified.
  • Work with the legal and operations teams to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, using tools like CookieYes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all implemented marketing technologies and provide technical support to the marketing team.
  • Partner with designers and other developers to build beautiful user interfaces and functional user experiences.
  • Write and review high-quality, well-architected code using HTML, CSS, Javascript.
  • Build and maintain page templates through the use of APIs.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement new web technology and methods that are beneficial to the goals of the organization.
  • Successfully deliver complex projects with convoluted interdependencies.
  • Work with the larger marketing team to edit and optimize the website to be more intuitive and generate more leads.
  • Regularly run audits and tests for web speed, performance, and accessibility.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below. 

You may also be offered equity, and a generous benefits program.

Compensation Range
$72,000$100,000 USD
