As a Wealth Planning Consultant, you’ll be part of a team advising our Personal Advisor Wealth Management (PAWM) ultra-high net worth clients and their families through their unique and complex investment journeys by providing advanced estate planning, income tax and financial planning analysis. You will provide trusted advice, education and a world class client experience and play an instrumental role in making sure the assets our clients have worked hard to accumulate benefit the people or organizations they care about the most.  

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes Vanguard's largest and most complex clients' current financial conditions and provides financial and income tax planning recommendations.
  • Assists in development, evolution and improvement of the financial planning methodology for Vanguard's advice offer.
  • Serves as an internal and external subject matter expert. Contributes to thought leadership initiatives and Vanguard's external publications.
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of compliance, regulatory, and departmental policies and procedures, as well as the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Trains and develops junior crew members and financial advisors. Participates in the hiring process.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Min. seven years of progressive wealth planning experience with ultra high-net-worth clients required.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance-related discipline required. Master’s in taxation, JD, or CPA preferred.
  • CFP preferred.
