What You’ll Do:

As a Warehouse Manager - Inventory Control you will run the day-to-day operations of a CoreWeave-operated warehouse that supports regional data center build and sustain activities. You will manage inbound, storage, picking, staging, and outbound flows while owning site-level safety, security, and inventory control routines. This role is tactically focused on a single 1PL location, with inventory control responsibilities aligned to the regional IC program and standards defined by the Global Warehouse & Distribution Leader.

Core Duties:

  • Manage daily warehouse operations (inbound, put-away, picking, staging, shipping) to meet SLAs and safety standards.
  • Own site-level staff planning, work assignment, and shift routines (for CoreWeave headcount and/or on-site vendors).
  • Enforce warehouse safety, OSHA, security, and 5S standards.
  • Execute cycle counts and reconciliations in partnership with the Regional Inventory Control Manager.
  • Act as the primary interface to Data Center Operations and carriers/white-glove partners for that warehouse.

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager who is comfortable both on the floor and in systems. You will be the primary operational owner for your site, ensuring the warehouse is safe, accurate, efficient, and aligned with global logistics playbooks.

You will report into regional inventory leadership, with a dotted-line relationship to the Global Warehouse & Distribution Leader, providing both local autonomy and global support.

You will also directly coordinate and manage the on-site Inventory Control Specialist(s), ensuring warehouse execution and inventory control standards remain tightly aligned. You are expected to be able to cover Inventory Control Specialist duties when needed and support ad hoc ICS resource planning, operational prioritization, and team structure decisions.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Run daily receiving, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping activities to meet dock-to-stock and order cycle-time targets.
  • Maintain accurate location management, labeling, and bin integrity.
  • Coordinate with carriers and white-glove providers on appointments, loading, and dock management.

Inventory Control Support and ICS Leadership

  • Execute cycle counts, location audits, and basic reconciliations per the regional IC program.
  • Escalate variances, damage, or systemic issues to the Regional IC Manager; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Directly coordinate and manage on-site Inventory Control Specialist(s), ensuring alignment on daily operational priorities, coverage plans, and execution quality.
  • Provide coverage for Inventory Control Specialist duties as needed (for example, during absences, peak periods, or special projects), including physical and system-based IC tasks.
  • Support ad hoc ICS resource planning (headcount, shift coverage, and temporary support), operational priority setting, and ongoing refinement of the ICS team structure in partnership with the Regional Inventory Control Manager.

Safety, OSHA, Security, and 5S

  • Act as the site safety and OSHA point of contact for the warehouse; ensure PPE compliance, MHE training/certification, and incident reporting.
  • Enforce access control, CCTV coverage, secure cages, and high-value handling SOPs.
  • Implement and sustain 5S and visual management practices (clear aisles, signage, shadow boards, etc.).

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary warehouse contact for Data Center Operations, carriers, 3PL partners, and local facilities teams.
  • Provide regular KPI and status updates to the Regional IC Manager and Global Warehouse & Distribution Leader.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years (IC2) / 5+ years (IC3) of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations, ideally in a 1PL or high-value hardware environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing receiving, shipping, and cycle count programs.
  • Familiarity with WMS/ERP systems and barcode/label workflows.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting operational KPIs (dock-to-stock, accuracy, throughput).
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety, OSHA, and security requirements.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to directly manage and coach Inventory Control Specialist(s), including setting priorities and providing feedback.

Preferred

  • Experience supervising or coordinating small teams or shifts (even in a lead or senior associate capacity).
  • Experience directly managing or closely partnering with inventory control specialists or similar roles.
  • Exposure to data center, electronics, or high-value hardware logistics.
  • Understanding of Lean/5S and continuous improvement practices.

Tools and Systems

  • WMS and/or ERP systems used at the site
  • RF scanners, label printers, and standard office tools
  • Safety/EHS reporting tools (as applicable)

Wondering If You’re a Good Fit?

  • You like being close to the work—seeing the dock, racks, and staging area as your primary “office.”
  • You care about accuracy, safety, and clear routines and are comfortable holding others accountable to those standards.
  • You enjoy coordinating with multiple teams (DC Ops, carriers, IC, security) to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.
  • You are comfortable both leading and supporting inventory control work and can flex between warehouse operations and ICS tasks as needed.
