GENERAL FUNCTION:

The W&AM Sales Coordinator will assist with various sales related activities, enabling the sales team to focus on business development and revenue generation.  This position will report to the W&AM Product & Sales Enablement Manager.  Responsibilities are to be completed with limited supervision, in a proactive manner with a focus on facilitating the sales process and increasing brand awareness for the Wealth & Asset Management division.  The Sales Coordinator will assist with pipeline management and reporting and leveraging data into useful insights.  The Sales Coordinator will also assist in the creation and distribution of sales communications, the coordination of internal/external marketing events, and will aid in team calendar management and other various administrative tasks.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

Sales Support

  • Work with assigned W&AM team(s) to track and manage sales pipeline and regional sales activities.
  • Communicate frequently with sales team(s), manager(s), and executives to develop and implement new methods and procedures for tracking and reporting sales activities.
  • Assist in business development research activities.
  • Leverage Shared Services analytics team and CRM team for reporting and data insights needs.
  • Attend meetings as required to discuss product and sales information, sales goals, and other departmental or OneBank coordination efforts.
  • Assist in the coordination of internal and external marketing events.
    • Assist in administrative tasks to optimize team’s sales capacity; may include calendar management, expenses, travel arrangements, etc. as needed.

Sales Communications

  • Prepare and distribute detailed monthly sales reports containing relevant information on sales and sales initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of sales wins and win announcements as well as other sales related communications.
  • Works with Corporate Communications and Corporate Marketing partners to coordinate new hire PR through various channel distribution.

Other Administrative Tasks

  • Assists in the coordination of the W&AM newsletter and other internal divisional communications.
  • Assists in the coordination and implementation of team meetings and all calls.
  • May assist with special projects as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES: None

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors preferred; or related work experience
  • 5 yrs + banking experience with a general understanding of wealth management
  • Self-starter who is detail-oriented
  • Strong familiarity with Fifth Third's CRM system(s), data analytics, and tracking
  • Strong presentation skills including PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills to organize data and provide insights
  • Organizational skills a must and manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable meeting urgent deadlines
