The Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Transformation & Delivery organization at LPL is seeking a Vice President II, Chief of Staff to lead the primary support function for LPL’s Chief Risk Officer and Head of Business Operations. In this role, the VPII will collaborate with executive team members to drive strategic planning and cross-functional change efforts, lead employee engagement, and support key executive reporting.
 

The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of influencing senior leadership, collaborating across stakeholder groups and leading change management efforts as well as critical skills in developing and leading high performing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Business Management Support team as a key leverage point for the Managing Director and executive leadership, serving as a thought partner and central connection across the leadership team and key external partnerships.
  • Drive team operational rhythms and business management, including leadership meetings, town halls, planning routines, and tracking of projects and initiatives to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Coordinate and drive execution of cross-functional initiatives, while leading and accelerating key change efforts across the organization.
  • Partner with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress against goals.
  • Drive employee interaction and engagement efforts, including employee communications.
  • Drive alignment by managing employee town halls and leadership meetings.
  • Hire, train and lead a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
  • Serve as a thought partner and program manager to drive key change efforts.
  • Manage executive and Board level reporting preparation processes.
  • Track and analyze team budget / expense management.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Management or related field.
  • 10+ years relevant experience in financial services.
  • Strategic thinker, communicate effectively, drives change, is highly motivated and thrives in a changing environment.
  • A proven history of building and maintaining excellent relationships and partnering with executives at all levels to help drive change.
  • Program and project management acumen and experience driving far-reaching high-impact initiatives.

Preferences:

  • Consulting and/or operations expertise preferred.
  • MBA Preferred.
  • 5+ years of previous experience in Chief of Staff or similar Business Management role.

 

Pay Range:

$145,159-$241,931/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
