The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) serves as the technology agile and portfolio management organization at LPL. The purpose of EPMO is to enable best practices and drive planning and execution activities that unlock the flow of value and create transparency into capacity across the organization. EPMO supports LPL product delivery by providing services to business partners and Solution Delivery Teams. EPMO manages a suite of services that includes support, delivery, implementation, and monitoring to ensure the efficient execution of critical initiatives for internal customers.

Job Overview:
The VP of Tech Financial & Workforce Management is responsible for providing leadership and strategic guidance for the IT Financial and Workforce Management functions. The VP, IT Financial Management supervises the Portfolio Analyst and Workforce Management teams, delivering financial insights and facilitating LPL Tech-Prd financial Labor management with support across P&L categories.

The VP of Tech Financial & Workforce Management works closely with FP&A, Technology & Product leaders, Tools, and project and scrum teams and reports directly to the EPMO CoS and Operations Vice President.
Responsibilities:

Delivery of Financial Insights and Strategic Analyses in partnership with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), supporting Tech-Prd Portfolio Leadership

Own and execute systems functions and processes as defined to facilitate Tech-Prd Workforce Management
-
Partner with FP&A and Tools Teams to select, optimize, and monitor Labor tracking and analysis platform functionality

Develop and manage IT Financial Management and Workforce Management talent
-
Create and implement IT Financial Management / Workforce Management roadmaps, charter and executive-level deliverables
-
Provides Labor Insights, including forecasts, budget planning, and variance trend analyses

Launch, edit, and operationalize financial and timesheet governance processes

Assists in production, issue resolution and /or translation of:

Capacity analyses

Ad-hoc financial reporting

Cost savings analyses

Forecasting / reforecasting approach and execution

Software & vendor contracting review

Ensure development and execution of processes and governance structures designed to train new resource managers and facilitate Planview updates

Serve as trusted partner to Executive leaders and Portfolio Managers / Leads for Tech-Prd financial and workforce (Labor) modeling, inclusive of thought leadership and proactive decision-making operational cadences

Requirements and Skills

4-year college degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Project Management or related field

At least 10 years of experience managing portfolio budgets above $20M

At least 10 years of experience managing enterprise capacity and time tracking

Expert training facilitator capable of training large groups in a professional setting

Experience monitoring and managing vendor performance
-
Experience managing requirement solution workshops
-
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project or similar tools
-
Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Aha!, Confluence or similar tools
Pay Range:
$126,225-$210,375/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
