Job Overview:

This position will lead Site Reliability Engineering and technology support function of critical application within Account Lifecycle Management domain across cloud, on-premise, and partner solutions that service our advisors and investors. This person will have the leadership skills and technical expertise required to oversee and manage critical application focused on reducing MTTR and implementing appropriate processes and procedures to improve the end user experience.
Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and lead the Service Operations team to be a high-performing customer-focused technology team that executes well on a 24/7/365 basis

  • Application Monitoring Onboarding: Lead the implementation of SRE best practices by leveraging organization’s standard monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana). Configure and deploy monitoring agents (e.g., Dynatrace OneAgent, Prometheus exporters) for all components. Ensure all components are set up with appropriate dashboards, alerting, and Service Level Indicators (SLIs). Validate that monitoring integrations are functional, complete, and meet organizational standards

  • Build strong customer/stakeholder relationships across Infrastructure, Operations, Information Security, application teams, and third-party service providers to optimize operational resiliency.

  • Partner with application development, infrastructure & operations, release management, DevOps, Cloud teams, and other key stakeholders to modernize and optimize Change Management Practices  

  • Integrate reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics packages, and related information for technology team leadership.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.  

  • Ensure code quality, stability, and scalability.  

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).  

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful services, Java/.net, Python and SQL.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.  

  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.  

  • Detail oriented and able to work independently.  

  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines.  

  • Experience working in financial industry preferred.  

Preferences:

  • Experience with Open Telemetry and other observability standards.

  • Knowledge of chaos engineering practices and their integration with Dynatrace.

  • Familiarity with AIOps platforms and automation solutions.


 

Pay Range:

$155,288-$258,813/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
