Go Maverick Group has a client seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead their strategic marketing and sales initiatives across the Public Washroom commercial market.
This executive will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, from strategy to execution, while driving new business opportunities and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders—especially within the architectural and design community. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is pivotal in driving their growth and achieving their ambitious goals both domestically and internationally. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Channel Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy across the Public Washroom vertical
- Achieve both quantitative and qualitative sales objectives across all distribution channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Creative, Trade Marketing, and Operations to drive new product ideas and business development strategies
- Partner with supply chain and operations teams for effective forecast planning, product rollouts, and fulfillment excellence
- Work closely with brand marketing to bring innovative ideas to market and develop tradeshow strategies
Sales Leadership
- Establish and manage sales strategies to drive growth in all markets, prioritizing territories and channels
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing sales management and field sales team, continuously developing their skills and competencies
- Negotiate and implement customer supply agreements, manufacturers rep agreements, and distribution agreements
- Own the entire sales cycle, managing customer relationships to improve channel performance, profitability, and satisfaction
- Represent the company at tradeshows and other business development activities, ensuring strong industry presence
- Leverage CRM, internal data reporting, and industry research databases to optimize sales efforts
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eight years of experience in sales, channel, or product marketing
- Self-motivated, high-energy individual with a sense of urgency and a proven track record of leading and motivating a sales team
- High level of integrity and alignment with organizational values
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage P&L and meet objectives proactively
- Excellent strategic development, project management, problem-solving, and change management skills
- Strong financial and supply chain acumen, with exceptional negotiation and follow-through skills
- Superior interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others effectively
- Ability to build positive working relationships both internally and externally
- Professional attitude, presence, and communication skills
- Familiarity with public washroom, construction, architectural specifying and/or commercial design is preferred
- This role requires high personal integrity and accountability, with the ability to lead and develop the sales function to achieve company objectives
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a coordinated team effort
- Extensive use of MS Office is required
- Travel is estimated at 35%, including overnight travel both nationally and internationally
- Some light lifting may be necessary for product demonstrations
