The Opportunity: Shape the Future of Workplace Wellness in the US

The Vice-president, Region Head, US, is an accomplished executive leader within the Healthcare solutions industry with demonstrated success leading a rapidly growing business. This role will hold executive accountability for driving market leadership and sustainable growth of the Employer Solutions business across the United States. This role leads the strategic development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market Sales and Customer Success strategies, focusing on delivering innovative, integrated workplace wellness and EAP solutions to employers across private and public sectors.

The successful candidate will have an established reputation and track record in the industry and business community within the United States, bringing a highly strategic and innovative outlook to drive the company’s vision both internally and externally.

What You'll Do
  • Drive market leadership and sustainable growth across the US Lead TELUS Health's expansion into the rapidly growing US EAP market, establishing dominant presence in key regions. Own P&L responsibility with accountability for significant annual revenue growth while building scalable operations that support long-term market leadership.

  • Develop and execute game-changing go-to-market strategies Architect innovative sales strategies that leverage our integrated digital health platform to disrupt traditional EAP delivery models. Design multi-channel approaches including direct enterprise sales and strategic partnerships, optimizing sales cycles while maximizing deal values.

  • Lead and inspire high-performing sales and delivery teams Build and scale regional teams of sales professionals and customer success managers, establishing high-performance cultures with consistent quota attainment. Implement coaching programs and career development pathways that attract top talent and deliver exceptional client experiences.

  • Forge strategic partnerships with key industry players Cultivate relationships with major benefits brokers, HR consultants, and technology integrators who influence EAP purchasing decisions. Negotiate partnership agreements and co-selling strategies that expand market reach and accelerate client acquisition.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate our service offerings Partner with product development, clinical teams, and technology groups to translate market insights into product enhancements and new service innovations. Champion client feedback loops that drive continuous improvement in service delivery and clinical outcomes.

  • Serve as the executive face of our company to major clients and partners Represent TELUS Health at C-suite level with enterprise clients and industry conferences, building trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers. Lead contract negotiations for major enterprise deals while maintaining our reputation for exceptional partnership integrity.

What You'll Bring
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in employee benefits, healthcare, or related industries

  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, with proven leadership expertise coaching and developing a highly skilled team of management professionals to success

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with extensive experience in building and developing high performance teams within large complex organizations. Ability to create the environment for success and promote superior performance against

  • Excellent communicator, able to effectively articulate the vision, goals and strategic imperatives of the business and act as an enabler for feedback, holding the team accountable for both results and behaviors

  • Excellent ability to articulate financial results, build business cases, and understand the customer financial environment

  • Proven strategic leader who excels at developing and executing effective roadmaps to success. Demonstrates strong business acumen with the ability to meet the immediate needs of the organization while laying the foundation for achieving the organization’s longer-term goals

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.  MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred, preferably with a focus on data analytics, information systems, or related fields
