- Serve as the strategic liaison to the Executive Management team for go-to-market initiatives, including branding, competitive intelligence, and positioning.
- Ensure alignment and consistency in global messaging across all content and enablement activities, leveraging clear, compelling product narratives.
- Lead messaging strategy for key events, including BeyondTheBlack (NA/EMEA/APAC), Best Practices Summits, and Tier 1 & 2 Prospecting Events.
- Drive customer engagement through interviews, speaking sessions, and external brand representation.
- Develop deep expertise in BlackLine's products, markets, competitors, and customer needs.
- Partner with Enablement teams to deliver effective sales tools, competitive intelligence, and sales playbooks.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape positioning and identify new customer acquisition opportunities.
- Oversee the creation of product marketing assets (e.g., collateral, brochures, white papers) targeting key customer segments and highlighting product value.
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure strong marketing positioning of new product features and updates. Drive commercialization of new products in the BlackLine portfolio.
- Stay aligned with the product roadmap to incorporate new features and enhancements into the marketing strategy.
- Support marketing programs across demand generation, partner, and channel marketing by communicating the value proposition of all products and solutions.
- Act as the product expert for internal teams, offering product evangelism and representing BlackLine at industry events and in speaking opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing strategies, materials, and activities are impactful and aligned with business goals.
- Educate sales, customer success, and account management teams on product positioning, ROI, and TCO.
- Represent BlackLine at industry events, webinars, trade shows, and advisory councils, positioning the company as a thought leader.
