Summary:
As the VP of Product Management, you will lead a team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional partners across DFIN to develop and refine a strategic vision for DFIN's virtual data room (VDR) solution. In this role, you will use your excellent communication skills to synthesize a long-term product vision from multiple perspectives gathered across the company and from emerging industry trends. You will think strategically to enact change in an ambiguous technical and organizational environment, influence teams across DFIN to realize the product vision, and drive profitable and sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Regularly communicate updates on product strategy and performance to executives and stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic leader of the business by aligning product initiatives with business goals and growth targets.
  • Lead and build a high-performance team of product managers while influencing across business teams and functions (software engineers, sales, customer service, marketing, etc.).
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product organization
  • Uncover customer needs through customer research that inspire innovative solutions and products.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product management leadership within enterprise technology environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA or advanced degree best
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams in complex technical environments.
  • Track record of successfully launching and growing products at scale while meeting business objectives and financial targets.
  • Ability to build quick trust on teams, and approach problems from a curious, ready-to-learn perspective.
  • Strong change manager. Comfortable with change, especially that which arises through company growth.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of M&A, IPOs, Corporate Governance is a plus
