The Opportunity

The VP of Marketing is the senior leader responsible for architecting and executing Kami Group’s (Kami, Kami Companion & Book Creator) marketing and communications strategies, as well as overseeing the overall branding and corporate image. This role guides the entire marketing department, manages strategic planning and budgeting, and ensures all efforts drive business growth, are data-informed, and align cross-functionally with sales and overall company objectives.
We are a SAAS Edtech company and at least 5+ years of SAAS (preferably Edtech) is a must.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Define and lead Kami’s global marketing and communications strategy, ensuring consistency of brand message, tone, and experience across all touchpoints.
  • Provide strategic oversight of content, digital marketing, product marketing, social media, and events to ensure a unified and impactful brand presence.
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan, including campaign calendars, budgets, and performance metrics aligned with business goals.
  • Champion Kami’s brand evolution, ensuring it reflects our mission, values, and product innovation across global markets.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity, accountability, and collaboration.

Market Insights & Growth Strategy

  • Continuously monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of all marketing initiatives, ensuring excellence across campaigns, launches, and communications.

Integrated Marketing Execution and Cross Functional Partnership

  • Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy..
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leaders to ensure marketing strategies support revenue, adoption, and retention goals.
  • Drive sales enablement, ensuring the commercial team has the tools, content, and insights needed to effectively position and sell Kami’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing priorities with company-wide objectives and investment strategies.
  • Manage relationships with key agencies, media partners, and strategic collaborators, ensuring alignment, value, and accountability.


What You'll Bring

  • Proven senior leadership experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies.
  • Expertise in brand management, digital marketing, media campaigns, and creative team guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to set marketing budgets, define KPIs, and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Experience utilizing market analysis and data (including internal databases) to inform and adjust strategic planning.
  • Strong track record of successful cross-functional partnerships, particularly with Sales teams.
