In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management (PM) and Independent Risk Management (IRM) leadership and stakeholders to assess risk and propose and implement solutions.
- Perform assessments across multiple CRE business lines and functions through fact finding and data analysis requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues.
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate which may involve escalations, communication and reporting as needed to senior leadership.
- Support and drive alignment of common and shared controls, assessing overlap between control environment and transformation initiatives while further solidifying control and line of business partnerships.
- 5+ years of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Commercial real estate experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the Enterprise, Corporate & Investment Banking and CRE Risk Programs, Policies and Procedures
- Control or COO experience
- RCSA and Issue Management experience
- Loan underwriting and portfolio management experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
- Experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
- Knowledge and understanding of CRE credit products
- Ability to travel as needed
- Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- This position may require you to meet FINRA registration requirements, which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification, in addition to regulatory and compliance requirements, including successful completion of criminal and regulatory checks and disclosure reviews
