We are hiring a VP of Investor Relations to join our Finance team. In this position, you will lead the company’s communications with the investment community and strengthen its position in the capital markets. This role will partner closely with the leadership team and serve as a trusted voice in articulating the company’s strategy, financial performance, and long-term vision. 

The VP of Investor Relations will thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment, bringing strong communication skills, financial acumen, and credibility with institutional investors and analysts. They will be results driven, balancing strategic storytelling with precise execution of investor calls and presentations. This leader will be analytical and thoughtful, using data, insights, and market intelligence to guide leadership decisions and shape external messaging. They will foster strong, transparent relationships with stakeholders, act as a culture carrier with humility and presence, and inspire confidence in the company’s leadership, performance, and future.

Strong preference for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City. 

What you will do 

  • Lead the company’s engagement with the investment community and develop a comprehensive strategy to effectively communicate the organization’s financial performance, strategic priorities, and long-term vision
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of investor calls and presentations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance 
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to provide market insights, analyze investor sentiment, and shape external messaging that enhances shareholder confidence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders, serving as a trusted representative of the company in the global capital markets
  • Monitor and analyze competitor performance, market trends, and industry developments to inform internal strategy and external messaging
  • Track and summarize research, market sentiment, and key investor perceptions to provide actionable insights and reports to senior leadership
  • Maintain and own external forecast models 
  • Handle day-to-day inquiries from institutional investors, providing timely, accurate, and compliant responses
  • Help plan, organize, and execute investor conferences, and investor meetings, including preparing briefing materials for senior management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Communications, Product) to develop and ensure consistent, compelling messaging across all investor touchpoints

We would love to have you on our team, if you have: 

  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, or related fields
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining strong relationships with institutional investors, equity research analysts, and the broader financial community
  • Deep understanding of financial statements, capital markets, and valuation drivers, with the ability to translate complex information into clear messaging
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; confident in representing the company with credibility and clarity to investors and executives
  • Strong strategic thinker who combines analytical rigor with sound business judgment to influence decisions and shape external narratives
  • Demonstrated success operating in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments 
  • Strong background partnering with C-suite executives, Board members, and cross-functional leaders to align messaging and strategy
  • Experience working across global markets and engaging with international investors

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $270,000 - $300,000
  • Region 2 $270,000 - $300,000
  • Region 3 $270,000 - $300,000
