We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Corporate Controller to join our world-class finance team. This critical leadership role will oversee and optimize all aspects of accounting operations in a complex, rapidly evolving environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our financial ecosystems and we want someone who is excited about solving the company’s hardest problems.
What You'll Do
- Own and scale the global accounting function by building high-performing teams, scalable processes, robust systems, and clear policies that support both hyper-growth and long-term sustainability
- Lead the monthly close, consolidation, and external reporting cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP, while driving readiness for SEC reporting standards
- Drive IPO readiness initiatives, including PCAOB audit standard readiness and implementation of public company financial controls and policies
- Manage relationships with auditors and other external advisors
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to ensure proper revenue accounting treatment for new product launches
- Implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures covering invoice processing, cash management, expense reporting, and related governance
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and regular reporting of KPIs
- Foster a culture of truth-seeking, a sense of urgency, and a passion for excellence
What You'll Need
- CPA, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and Big 4 Experience or related
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including senior-level controllership or corporate accounting roles
- Proven experience preparing a company for IPO or operating as a public company controller/senior accounting leader
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal control frameworks
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- System savvy; experience with Netsuite or similar ERP, and familiarity with financial automation tools
- Tech-forward, with experience and a desire to utilize AI and latest technologies to build scalable operations a plus
- Experience with multi-currency accounting, ideally in emerging markets
