Position Overview

At Firstup, we’re transforming how companies connect with their people — and we’re looking for a bold, data-driven VP, Demand Generation to accelerate that mission.
This role is all about growth: driving pipeline, conversion, and revenue across every stage of the funnel. You’ll lead a global demand engine that blends inbound, outbound, ABM, digital, field, and SDR programs — all powered by insight, automation, and AI.
We’re looking for a modern marketing leader who can balance strategy and execution, scale global impact, and turn data into predictable revenue outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Execute Global Strategy: Design a world-class demand generation engine that delivers high-quality, scalable pipeline growth across the US and EMEA.
  • Own the Full Funnel: Manage the end-to-end journey — from awareness to closed-won — ensuring every touchpoint is measurable, optimized, and aligned to conversion goals.
  • Lead Multi-Channel Growth: Oversee inbound, outbound, ABM, field, digital (SEO, SEM, AEO), and SDR functions, integrating them into one high-performing, revenue-focused ecosystem.
  • Leverage Data & AI: Apply predictive analytics, intent data, and AI-powered targeting to prioritize accounts and accelerate engagement.
  • Accelerate Pipeline-to-Revenue: Partner closely with Sales and RevOps to improve conversion velocity, reduce deal cycles, and forecast with accuracy.
  • Optimize Efficiency: Continuously refine the channel mix, budget allocation, and ROI to maximize marketing’s impact on revenue.
  • Inspire & Develop Talent: Build, coach, and empower a global team of analytical, performance-driven marketers who thrive on results.
  • Report with Clarity: Provide executive stakeholders with actionable insights on pipeline health, conversion trends, and revenue performance.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including 10+ years leading high-performing demand generation functions.
  • Proven ability to drive predictable pipeline and bookings growth through full-funnel, data-led strategies.
  • Deep understanding of funnel analytics, attribution, and lifecycle optimization.
  • Expertise in modern martech and AI-driven platforms — Salesforce, Marketo, Hockeystack, Clay, Outreachy, Gong, Chili Piper, and others.
  • Experience leading global teams across regions and aligning execution with Sales and Product Marketing.
  • Strategic mindset with operational excellence — you set vision, but you’re not afraid to get into the data.
  • Strong collaboration and executive communication skills; ability to influence across GTM functions.
  • Bonus: experience in HR tech, employee engagement, or internal communications SaaS.

What Success Looks Like

  • A predictable, high-quality pipeline that fuels revenue growth quarter over quarter.
  • Clear visibility from marketing investment to closed-won revenue.
  • Improved funnel velocity, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • A unified global demand team operating with precision, creativity, and accountability.

Firstup expects the base salary for this role to be between $220,000-$260,000. The starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

Why Firstup?
