You are a strategic marketing leader with a passion for driving business growth through innovative demand-generation strategies. You thrive in the dynamic B2B tech environment and understand the unique challenges of marketing security solutions to enterprise customers. You understand the value and nuances of an account-based approach to sales and marketing. You have a high standard for the content your team produces. With your data-driven approach and leadership skills, you're ready to build and optimize a high-performing demand generation function that delivers measurable pipeline and revenue impact. You are leaning into AI and its potential to drive better performance. You excel at cross-functional collaboration and can effectively partner with sales, product, and executive teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy, owning pipeline targets while ensuring alignment with company growth objectives and sales leadership
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing demand generation team focused on delivering measurable business results
  • Design, implement, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, paid media, webinars, content marketing, advertising, etc.) tailored to specific market segments, ensuring messaging and offers resonate with high-value personas
  • Define and lead a robust content production program with discerning standards for quality, demonstrating exceptional judgment on what constitutes compelling, high-impact content for security professionals
  • Through segmented marketing approaches, increase contact and account engagement while maintaining alignment with broader marketing objectives
  • Establish and maintain a metrics-driven approach to measure campaign effectiveness, ROI, and pipeline contribution
  • Leverage account-based targeting, marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to optimize account and contact nurturing, scoring, and conversion processes
  • Build upon and expand the team’s use of AI to drive better performance and scale operations
  • Stay current with B2B marketing best practices, particularly emerging opportunities to harness AI for better efficiency and performance in the security/technology sector
  • Manage and optimize the demand generation budget to maximize impact and efficiency
  • Collaborate with product marketing to develop compelling messaging and content that resonates with target audiences
  • Partner with revenue operations to ensure marketing-generated contacts are effectively worked and converted
  • Report on key performance metrics to executive leadership and provide strategic recommendations for improvement

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in B2B demand generation or performance marketing, with at least 6 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of building and scaling demand generation programs that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue impact
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing, preferably in the security, compliance, or enterprise technology space
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing technologies, including account-based platforms, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, advertising, and analytics tools
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in campaign measurement, attribution modeling, and performance optimization
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
