The Role

ZenBusiness is seeking a versatile and inspirational Vice President, Brand Marketing to build out and lead a dynamic brand marketing team, elevate our brand strategy and impact, and evolve our integrated marketing, creative, and communication efforts.

This role will report into the CMO and be responsible for establishing the brand and creative functions within the Brand Management department while working cross-functionally to ensure we deliver consistent and memorable experiences that are uniquely ZenBusiness. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Set the brand strategy, structure, operating process, systems, and optimal balance of internal and external resources required to support business goals.
  • Establish a brand roadmap with clear plans through 2026 that we can execute against the integrated brand marketing strategy.
  • Push the brand forward with best-in-class storytelling and experiences across the customer journey that support and drive awareness, acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Create a culture that’s oriented around the customer and driven by insights, measurement, and an always-on approach to optimization.
  • Define the brand mechanisms that will grow the brand and prioritize investments across campaigns, partnerships, and creative production accordingly.
  • Oversee creative development for major brand and product campaigns and initiatives.
  • Refine the processes for go-to-market planning and creative briefs to produce remarkable campaigns that drive awareness, retention, loyalty, and growth.
  • Be a strong cross-functional partner who is deeply invested in learning and supporting teams across the company.

Goals and Desired Results

  • Build, shape, and nurture a brand that people love.
  • Establish collaborative brand, comms and creative functions within the Brand Management department 
  • Implement a brand process that improves the team’s output and efficiency.
  • Responsible for using monitoring tools and brand lift studies to track and improve core brand metrics like awareness and consideration.
  • Show how brand investments positively impact other company KPIs across market share growth, customer acquisition, retention, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years Marketing experience with 8+ years in management roles.
  • Experience building and developing brand marketing and creative teams and processes.
  • Proven ability to partner with key stakeholders to create and execute the brand marketing strategy that improves key metrics across awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Strong and effective cross-functional collaboration and partnership with creative, media, PR, partnerships, product design, and more.
  • Familiarity with agency environments and experience working with media brands is desired, but substantial in-house experience is required.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, innovative, and creative team player/coach.
  • Deep understanding and proficiency with creative and project management tools (Figma, Adobe, JIRA).

Bonus Qualifications

  • macOS and G-Workspace knowledge is a plus!
