About the role

We’re seeking a Visual & UX Designer with exceptional visual design skills and a foundational understanding of user-centered design. In this hybrid role, your primary focus will be creating clear, compelling visual assets that elevate our brand across marketing, sales, and product. You’ll design everything from pitch decks, event materials, and one-pagers to in-product visuals and UI patterns—ensuring visual consistency, clarity, and impact at every touchpoint. This role reports directly to Artisight’s Senior Product designer, and will maintain close collaboration with the CPO.

While visual design is at the core of this role, you’ll also collaborate closely with our Senior Product Designer to support the development of our internal design system and contribute to lightweight UX work. This includes building and maintaining scalable UI components, refining layout structures, and helping ensure visual and functional consistency across all product touchpoints.

What you'll do

Client Facing Visual Design

• Create clear, helpful user manuals, training guides, and onboarding materials to help users adopt and confidently use our tools.
• Partner with product, sales and marketing teams to promote reuse, consistency, and alignment across teams and channels.
• Design branded assets for sales deck, technical guides, landing pages, pitch decks, event/trade shows materials, and content assets (1 pagers, infographics, presentations).
• Translate complex healthcare and AI concepts into clear, compelling visuals
• Create and maintain a library of visual assets and templates for rapid execution

Product & UX design

• Collaborate with Product Designer and Engineers on Artisight internal tools
• Contribute to building and maintaining a shared design system that unifies our product and client facing visuals—components, patterns, icons, typography, and brand standards.
• Design lightweight flows, mockups, or UI concepts for internal projects
• Advocate for visual consistency and accessibility in product interfaces
• Ensure all designs meet healthcare constraints (privacy, regulatory, accessibility).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in visual design (ideally in SaaS, product, or brand-driven environments)
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates excellent visual design skill across digital and print (e.g., presentations, 1 pagers, marketing collateral, pitch decks, in-product UI)
• Proficiency in industry standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of visual design fundamentals: typography, layout, spacing, colour theory, composition & iconography
• Experience designing and maintaining with design systems: maintaining consistency, working with templates, creating reusable assets
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices in digital design (especially important in healthcare contexts)
• Can shift between marketing/brand-facing visuals and in-product UI work.
• Ability to work in a startup environment with cross-functional collaboration and limited oversight
