The Role
The Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) Global Labor Time department is seeking a Virtual Labor Time Study Author to become part of the team. This position will be responsible for creating virtual labor time studies using virtual, CAD data and hands-on vehicle markups.

The Role
The Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) Global Labor Time department is seeking a Virtual Labor Time Study Author to become part of the team. This position will be responsible for creating virtual labor time studies using virtual, CAD data and hands-on vehicle markups.
What You'll Do:
- Work to create virtual labor time studies using currently timed steps along with virtual and CAD tools.
- Working daily with TeamCenter and Excel based studies
- Work with other teams such as Mechanical Service Information Team and Global Warranty Team on special projects
- Single point of contact for labor time publication related issues.
- Global Coordination - Work with all regions to share best practices and implement learnings/tools.
- Process Development and Execution
- Creating and communication metrics
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Strong automotive technical knowledge
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products
- High Initiative
- Ability to analyze data. (See trends, use for decision making)
- Strong organizational skills.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently in a production-based environment with alignment to delivery schedule timing.
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two-year associate degree in automotive field or combination of equivalent training and relevant automotive experience
- Service Information or Labor Time Study Authoring experience
- Experience working in an independent or dealership service department.
- Hands on experience with a vehicle
- Understanding of Flat-Rate and Labor Times
- Data Analytic Experience
- Project Management Experience
- Experience communicating with global teams.
