Position SummaryNextLink Labs is seeking a skilled and proactive Video & Podcast Editor (Contract, Hourly) in LATAM to support the launch and ongoing production of our podcast and video content initiatives. This individual will play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling of our brand through high-quality video editing, color grading, and post-production execution.
The ideal candidate is more than an editor — they are a creative partner who can take ownership of the edit, provide thoughtful feedback to on-camera talent, and help elevate production quality over time. This role will work closely with our podcast host and internal team to ensure content is engaging, polished, and aligned with our strategic goals.
This is a remote, contract-based role with flexible hours and variable workload. This is not a full-time position.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Video & Podcast Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality podcast and video content while also contributing creatively to improve how content is captured and presented. You will collaborate closely with internal team members, and provide guidance that improves both current and future recordings.
What You'll DoEdit podcast and video content including talking-head videos, interviews, and short-form clips
Perform color correction and color grading to enhance visual quality
Shape edits with strong pacing, narrative flow, and storytelling instincts
Provide clear and actionable feedback to the host on:
Camera framing and composition
Lighting and shot setup
Recording improvements for future sessions
Remotely assist with camera setup and production best practices when needed
Take creative ownership of edits and proactively recommend improvements
Proven experience editing video and podcast content
Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, pacing, and editorial judgment
Proficiency with professional video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
Experience with color correction and grading
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
Comfort providing direct, constructive feedback to improve recordings
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Experience editing sports or golf-related content
Familiarity working with founders, executives, or on-camera hosts
Comfort guiding non-technical creators on production best practices
