Job Description

Assembles the final cut of video projects. Duties include:

  • Maintain the original message of the script without rewriting or altering content

  • Edit footage for pacing, clarity, and visual continuity

  • Balance audio levels for narration, music, and sound effects to ensure clear playback

  • Add graphics, captions, and visual elements required by the production plan

  • Verify accessibility basics, including readable on-screen text and clear audio levels

  • Export videos in the correct format and resolution for YouTube and internal archives

  • Create YouTube thumbnails that represent the subject and tone of the video

  • Upload completed files to the designated project storage or publishing system

  • Coordinate with other departments when edits affect presentation or clarity

  • Maintain organized project files and version control for all video assets

You will receive task assignments and guidance from our leadership team weekly or biweekly, based on your personal preference. We ask our volunteers to provide approximately five to ten hours of their time per week while maintaining consistent communication.
