Vice President, Product Portfolio Operations Manager, Chase Travel
As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager in Chase Travel team you will provide support to the Portfolio Quad - ensuring value delivery and performance against business objectives, enabling products/portfolio to operate efficiently in the organizational ecosystems. You will play a critical role in supporting teams, embodying Chase values, and driving strategic initiatives. Your leadership will foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
Job responsibilities
Partner with Product teams to gather, analyze, and report portfolio health and performance metrics.
Maintain high-quality data in Systems of Record (e.g., Align, Jira, PAT), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
Produce recurring and ad hoc dashboards/reports to improve portfolio monitoring, transparency, and decision-making.
Support controls and audit activities, including test coordination, evidence collection, status tracking, and stakeholder/leadership reporting.
Establish and continuously improve portfolio operating routines, governance, and ways of working to increase efficiency across Product Areas.
Identify process gaps and implement scalable systems and automation (including AI-enabled approaches) to enhance controls hygiene and productivity.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate clearly with leadership to align execution to strategy and objectives.
Monitor trends and performance outcomes, surface insights, and recommend improvements and corrective actions.
Support PPO leadership team with project and ad-hoc activities and initiatives.
Model and champion Chase values, contributing to a positive, inclusive culture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proven experience in product operations, with a strong focus on controls, risk/issue tracking, and process improvement.
Demonstrated experience establishing and supporting ways of working, operating routines, and portfolio/product-area operational support.
Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to identify root causes and implement scalable solutions.
Excellent documentation skills and the ability to create clear, durable artifacts (playbooks, SOPs, procedures).
Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and partner effectively across stakeholders and levels.
Ability to simplify complex processes into clear guidance, including development of training and communications.
Demonstrated ability to act as a culture carrier, consistently promoting and modeling organizational values.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Jira, Align, Tableau, Co-Pilot or other AI tools
- Experience with ways of working and operational support
- Ability to drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with Chase CCB processes and standards.
- Passion for fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
