Job Description

CLEAResult is seeking an exceptional, enterprise‑scale marketing leader to build, scale, and lead all aspects of marketing across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, the Vice President of Marketing is a key member of the growth leadership team and a strategic advisor to the executive committee. This role is accountable for defining and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives growth, strengthens brand leadership, deepens client and customer relationships, and accelerates demand across all markets and segments.

This leader will own end‑to‑end marketing—including corporate marketing, corporate communications, branding, digital marketing, demand generation, client and customer communications, product and solution marketing, and events—while building the operating model, capabilities, and teams required to support a complex, multi‑segment, mission‑driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead an integrated, enterprise‑wide marketing strategy aligned to CLEAResult’s growth, revenue, brand, and market‑expansion objectives.
  • Serve as the senior marketing advisor to the Chief Growth Officer, executive leadership, and business unit leaders.
  • Translate corporate strategy into clear marketing priorities, roadmaps, and investment plans across all marketing disciplines.
  • Establish marketing as a core growth engine, directly influencing pipeline, revenue, client retention, and market perception.
  • Build and lead a center of marketing excellence that sets standards, best practices, and scalable operating models across the company.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand, messaging, and positioning while enabling flexibility for regional, client, and segment‑specific needs.

2. Corporate Marketing, Brand & Communications

  • Own and evolve the CLEAResult brand, ensuring a clear, differentiated, and compelling market position across all audiences.
  • Lead corporate marketing and corporate communications, including executive communications, thought leadership, public relations, and media strategy.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for CLEAResult at industry events, conferences, client engagements, and media opportunities.
  • Oversee internal and external messaging to ensure alignment between company strategy, culture, and market narrative.
  • Guide crisis communications and reputation management in partnership with executive leadership.

3. Client, Customer & Market Engagement

  • Lead client and customer communications strategies that strengthen relationships, demonstrate value, and support long‑term retention and growth.
  • Implement a scalable, data‑driven customer and client marketing approach, including segmentation, journey mapping, and personalization.
  • Champion a customer‑centric culture, leveraging insights to improve engagement, satisfaction, and ROI.

4. Digital Marketing, Demand Generation & ABM

  • Own enterprise digital marketing strategy, including web, SEO, paid media, email, marketing automation, webinars, and virtual events.
  • Lead full‑funnel demand generation and pipeline acceleration in close partnership with Sales and Growth leadership.
  • Design and execute account‑based marketing (ABM) programs for priority clients and high‑value growth opportunities.
  • Define success metrics and accountability for pipeline contribution, CAC, CLV, ROMI, MQLs, and revenue impact.

5. Data, Analytics & Marketing Operations

  • Establish a robust marketing analytics and insights framework to guide decision‑making and continuous optimization.
  • Leverage data, predictive analytics, AI, and experimentation (A/B testing) to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Own the marketing technology roadmap, ensuring effective use of CRM, automation, analytics, and creative tools.
  • Implement scalable processes, governance, and performance management across all marketing functions.
  • Uphold ethical, compliant, and transparent data usage and privacy practices.

6. Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Build, lead, and scale a high‑performing, cross‑functional marketing organization spanning corporate marketing, communications, brand, digital, demand generation, product/solution marketing, events, and client marketing. This role will oversee a team of 100+ individuals across North America.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top marketing talent while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Sales, Product, Operations, and Regional leaders to align marketing with enterprise and market‑specific objectives.
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure excellence across creative, digital, and analytics delivery.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior marketing leadership experience, including building and leading enterprise‑scale marketing organizations. Experience working with Utilities, in an Energy-related field, or in a consulting/services related field are all considered an asset.
  • Experience in Energy Efficiency, Demand Response, Energy Transition, or renewables strongly preferred and prioritized
  • Proven experience leading corporate marketing, brand, corporate communications, digital marketing, and demand generation in complex, multi‑segment environments.
  • Experience supporting both B2B and B2C marketing models; exposure to regulated or public‑sector markets is a plus.

Demonstrated Success In:

  • Driving revenue growth, pipeline creation, and margin improvement through marketing.
  • Elevating brand presence and thought leadership at an enterprise level.
  • Partnering effectively with executive leadership and C‑level stakeholders.
  • Leading high‑impact, data‑driven marketing initiatives with measurable ROI.
  • Managing significant budgets, including zero‑based budgeting and investment prioritization.

Technical & Functional Expertise:

  • Demand generation, ABM, lifecycle marketing, and sales enablement.
  • Marketing analytics, attribution modeling, and performance measurement.
  • Modern MarTech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, CMS platforms, analytics and creative tools).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence skills, with the ability to operate credibly at the executive level.

$188,100.00 - $282,200.00
