Job Description:
Phreesia Network Solutions is redefining how life sciences brands engage patients and healthcare providers at critical moments in healthcare. We are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to set the vision, lead growth, and own how Phreesia shows up to the life sciences market—today and as the business expands.
Reporting directly to the President, Network Solutions, this role will define Phreesia Network Solutions’ go-to-market strategy, steward and evolve the brand, and lead a multi-disciplinary marketing organization spanning Demand Generation, Strategy & Research, Client Marketing & Events, and Creative. The VP of Marketing will serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership, with direct impact on revenue growth and market leadership.
Phreesia is a fully remote company; however, candidates located in ET and CT regions are given priority in the hiring process.
What You’ll Lead
Market Vision, Brand & Positioning
Own and evolve the Phreesia Network Solutions brand, ensuring it clearly reflects current capabilities while remaining extensible for future products, audiences, and growth initiatives.
Define a compelling market narrative that positions Phreesia as a strategic partner to life sciences marketers, not just a media or technology provider.
Translate Phreesia’s long-term vision and expansion plans into clear, credible positioning for the life sciences market.
Go-to-Market Strategy
Set and lead the integrated marketing strategy across demand generation, client marketing, events, research, and creative.
Partner closely with Sales and Product to align marketing strategy with pipeline growth, client expansion, and commercial priorities.
Ensure marketing efforts are insight-led, measurable, and tied directly to business outcomes.
Life Sciences Insight & Thought Leadership
Lead Strategy & Research to deliver market insights, audience intelligence, and original research that matter to life sciences marketers.
Elevate Phreesia’s thought leadership through data-driven storytelling, executive content, and industry presence.
Act as a senior representative of Phreesia with life sciences audiences, including at key industry events.
Client Engagement & Experience
Own the client marketing strategy from initial engagement through long-term partnership.
Build programs that deepen relationships with enterprise life sciences clients, including advocacy, storytelling, and executive-level engagement.
Ensure Phreesia’s events and experiences reinforce its leadership position in the market.
Creative & Narrative Leadership
Serve as the steward of brand, narrative, and creative quality across all channels.
Balance brand building with performance marketing in an enterprise, high-consideration buying environment.
Lead brand evolution initiatives that support both near-term growth and long-term expansion.
Leadership & Scale
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing leadership team across four verticals.
Establish clear operating rhythms, accountability, and performance metrics.
Scale marketing capabilities, processes, and partnerships to support continued growth.
What You Bring
Deep experience in the life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of how pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies market and engage audiences.
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of marketing experience, including senior leadership roles in life sciences marketing, healthcare media, or platforms serving life sciences brands.
Proven success leading complex, multi-disciplinary marketing teams.
Strong strategic judgment paired with the ability to drive execution and measurable results.
Executive presence and credibility with senior life sciences marketers and internal stakeholders.

Total Cash Compensation for U.S.-based employees ranges from $325,000-$375,000, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive, and is dependent on qualifications. In addition, Phreesia offers a a highly competitive and comprehensive Total Rewards package.
