Join the Innovation Economy Marketing team, which is responsible for brand, growth, and sales marketing for the Innovation Economy line of business in Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB). You will own Innovation Economy Partner Marketing as part of the overall Growth Marketing Strategy. Working across functions and ecosystem third parties, you will lead partner marketing efforts, including the existing Innovation Economy Startup Offers platform. You will identify and develop opportunities that strengthen the client value proposition, increase engagement, and create new paths to acquisition and growth.
As Vice President of Innovation Economy Partner Marketing within Commercial and Investment Banking, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, analyzing, and reporting on the J.P. Morgan Innovation Economy Partner Marketing Strategy. You will also provide strategic support for the team’s acquisition and growth agenda, including opportunity assessments, test-and-learn plans, audience and journey insights, and partner-enabled lead generation initiatives.
- Own, prioritize, and manage the partner marketing portfolio across ecosystem partners (accelerators, VCs, and strategic platforms), evaluating opportunities based on founder relevance, strategic fit, feasibility, scalability, and business impact.
- Lead Startup Offers strategy, segmentation, curation, and activation across founder stages and markets, using competitive, performance, and client insights to drive growth.
- Improve the end-to-end user experience by identifying platform, content, discovery, and conversion opportunities in Startup Offers and beyond.
- Develop scalable partner and event activation programs across the ecosystem and marketing channels, with clear lead capture, follow-up, and measurable acquisition outcomes, in partnership with our Events team.
- Lead partner negotiations and relationship management in partnership with legal, controls, third-party oversight, product, and other required stakeholders.
- Establish performance frameworks and executive-ready reporting for partner marketing and value-added services, including engagement, redemptions, lead capture, conversion, partner contribution, and qualitative client and stakeholder feedback.
- Support Acquisition and Growth Strategy efforts by contributing to annual and quarterly planning, opportunity sizing, audience and journey analysis, campaign hypotheses, and channel or partner test plans.
- Demonstrated experience leading partner, ecosystem, or B2B marketing programs that support business growth.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to evaluate opportunities, prioritize investments, and use performance data to inform recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional programs and influence stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
- Experience managing external partners and navigating legal, risk, controls, or third-party oversight requirements.
- Excellent communication and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
- Experience with lead generation, strategic partnerships, offers or benefits platforms, co-marketing, or events marketing.
- Familiarity with startups, venture capital, accelerators and incubators, technology platforms, fintech, or commercial and investment banking.
- Experience with partner measurement, attribution, and reporting.
- Experience working in financial services or another regulated industry.
