Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Total Rewards HR Leader to join our dynamic team. As the Global Total Rewards HR Leader, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our global total rewards programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent across our organization. You will work closely with senior leadership, HR business partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure that our total rewards strategy aligns with our business objectives and supports our employees' overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global total rewards strategy that encompasses compensation, benefits, recognition programs, and other rewards initiatives.

  • Lead the design and administration of competitive compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and equity plans, ensuring alignment with market trends and internal equity considerations.

  • Oversee the management and enhancement of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other fringe benefits, to meet the diverse needs of our workforce. Work closely with existing brokers and consultants delivering services and products to WEX.

  • Drive the development and implementation of innovative recognition and rewards programs to promote employee engagement, motivation, and retention.

  • Partner with HR analytics teams to conduct regular data analysis and benchmarking to assess the effectiveness of our total rewards programs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and prepare board level presentations and material in support of Chief People Officer (CPO) and Leadership Development and Compensation Committee (LDCC).

  • Collaborate with HR business partners and talent acquisition teams to develop and implement effective compensation and rewards strategies to support talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation, benefits, and rewards programs across all regions and countries of operation.

  • Provide guidance and support to HR teams and managers on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary recommendations, and performance-based compensation decisions.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in total rewards management and incorporate them into our global total rewards strategy as appropriate.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, consultants, and industry experts to leverage their expertise and resources in optimizing our total rewards programs.

  • Manage a team of up 10-15 total rewards global resources.

  • Assure compliance with all Bank credit policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

  • Member of the following Bank committees:  Credit; Loan; Compliance and ALCO committees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in HR leadership roles with a focus on total rewards management, preferably in a global or multinational organization.

  • Experience leading and managing small to midsize teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations across multiple geographies.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data to inform decision-making and measure program effectiveness.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing and executing innovative total rewards strategies that drive business results.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), Executive Compensation Certifications a plus

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
