About the Job:

The Vice President, Finance will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will touch every aspect of our financial envelope and have a unique opportunity to design, implement, and sustain the core Finance business processes. We’re looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Finance leader eager to learn and help scale the Finance infrastructure for a high growth DevOps leader, backed by one of the largest and most well-respected PE firms in the world (TPG Capital). The VP, Finance will serve as a key thought leader for the Finance team, owning all areas of the budgeting & reporting process, and touching all corners of Finance & Accounting.  You’ll interface closely with key executives and play a critical role in scaling our reporting and metrics to accommodate organic & inorganic growth.  This person will also lead the reconfiguration of current processes and controls, as well as ad hoc requests to support Board and management reporting.


What you'll do:

  • Design and maintain the company's data cube, integrating critical data from multiple sources to develop insightful reports, dashboards, and KPIs that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Build and enhance financial models used to forecast and report the company’s key business metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with budget controls and systems and develop new reporting processes to support all business units.
  • Create new reports and dashboards to highlight trends and variances in key areas, build and maintain reporting cadence to business units and budget owners.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and analyses for executive leadership and the Board.
  • Proactively address and solution pain points for key executive stakeholders through recurring touchpoints and strategic partnership workstreams.
  • Play a critical role in the evaluation and implementation of revenue recognition software in accordance to ASC 606, enabling on-demand recalibration between 605 & 606 output.
  • Deliver key reporting improvements designed to inform accurate cash forecasting & reconciliation.
  • Consistently seek opportunities for efficiencies and scale to support future acquisitions and revenue profiles.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required 
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 5-7 years of direct Finance experience, preferably in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Enterprise software experience a plus
  • Prior transaction and diligence experience a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ability to build sustainable and scalable models
  • NetSuite & Adaptive experience preferred
  • CPA or MBA a plus

The current salary range for this specific job is estimated to be $200,000-240,000 base. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and internal equity. We value transparency and aim to create an inclusive and equitable workplace for all our employees. Certain positions at Digital.ai might also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, or other employee benefits which are separate from the base salary and to be defined at offer stage.
