What We Need

  • The Vice President, DME Provider Success, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Growth and Strategy, will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our DME Provider network. This strategic leader will oversee the DME Provider Management Team, DME Provider Recruitment, and Account Management, fostering close partnerships with our Provider network, onboarding, and account management teams to deliver superior outcomes for our providers, payors, partners, and shared members.
  • In this role, collaboration is key; you will work cross-functionally with DME Provider Contracting, Credentialing, Implementation, Prescriber Success, Compliance, Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, and Business Analysts to develop a robust and high-performance network of DME providers that enhances our members' experience through a concierge-level approach.
  • As Vice President, you will lead efforts to identify and recruit new DME Providers, facilitate seamless onboarding to the Synapse Health platform, manage issue resolution, and strengthen key relationships. You’ll also be responsible for tracking, executing, and reporting critical metrics, providing vital feedback to the Operations, RCM, Prescriber, Solutions and Implementation, and Product teams. In addition, you will spearhead both prospect-facing and internal initiatives that support the implementation of new payer contracts and DME Network requirements, helping to drive Synapse Health’s growth and expansion.

What You Will Do

  • Develop Strategic DME Provider Plans: Formulate and implement a DME Provider strategy aligned with our business goals to foster sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
  • Identify Partnership Opportunities: Conduct market research and analyze internal data to pinpoint valuable channel partnerships, guiding teams through market complexities to drive informed decisions.
  • Deliver Data-Driven Insights: Craft detailed, claims-based analyses for qualified prospects to demonstrate the unique value of partnering with Synapse Health, working with tech and analytics teams to outline effective implementation options.
  • Design Training and Communication Materials: Create resources that educate DME providers and promote workflow adoption, ensuring stakeholders are fully engaged and aligned with Synapse Health’s vision.
  • Collaborate on Product and Service Insights: Work closely with Product and Operations to gain a deep understanding of Synapse Health’s offerings, empowering healthcare partners (DME vendors, payors, and distribution partners) with essential tools and insights.
  • Strengthen DME Provider Relationships: Establish and nurture key relationships through regular check-ins, performance reviews, and feedback collection, leveraging Account Management best practices to ensure satisfaction and continuity.
  • Participate in Joint Operations Committee Meetings: Engage in quarterly business reviews with vendor partners to identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Facilitate Seamless Partnership Launches: Collaborate closely with Operations, Prescriber, and Business teams to ensure efficient, timely launches of partnership transitions and implementations.
  • Drive Network Performance Improvement: Develop and own a roadmap for enhancing network performance, ensuring the vendor network meets the diverse needs of payors across various regions.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert: Contribute to growth initiatives by advising on best practice workflows, transition strategies, and optimal implementation methods.
  • Enhance ROI for Partners: Lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen ROI for payer partners and the DME Network, fostering growth, retention, and long-term value.
  • Refine Service Offerings Through Insights: Partner with DME, Product, and Operations teams to identify improvement areas and communicate insights that enhance Synapse Health’s service offerings.
  • Streamline Provider Onboarding: Support the development of seamless onboarding processes and tools for new network providers and payor partnerships, promoting a smooth integration experience.
  • Lead Vendor Negotiations: Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and conditions that benefit both Synapse Health and our partners.
  • Manage Vendor Risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks in vendor relationships, addressing pricing, quality, or performance issues proactively.
  • Communicate Expectations and Solutions: Maintain open and effective communication with vendors to set clear expectations and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Drive Vendor Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance improvement, cost reduction, and relationship enhancement, ensuring vendors align with our standards.
  • Monitor and Report on KPIs and SLAs: Regularly evaluate vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs, providing executive updates on strategic and critical metrics.
  • Resolve Vendor Conflicts Professionally: Address disputes and conflicts with vendors efficiently and professionally, maintaining positive and productive relationships.

What You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, design, or a related field, providing a strong foundation for leadership in vendor management and network development.
  • 10+ years of experience in Network Management within the healthcare sector, specifically in post-acute care, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics and challenges.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and adept at learning department and job-specific software systems, facilitating effective management of tasks and projects.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing the importance of building rapport and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills that empower you to approach problem-solving with a data-driven mindset, making informed decisions that drive results.
  • High attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality work, ensuring accuracy and excellence in all endeavors.
