What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years’ experience in consulting, product management, operations or sales engineering; prior consulting experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, economics, business, or computer science; MBA preferred
  • Experience eliciting and defining software business requirements and flows, communicating accurate technical information, and developing product roadmaps for data and/or technical solutions in a B2B environment
  • Proven ability to create compelling and effective communication, cross-functionally and at all levels, for internal and external audiences
  • Strong collaborator with a problem-solving, design-thinking, and customer-centric mind-set with skill at evaluating situations and identifying solutions
  • Prior experience conducting voice of customer, capturing competitive intel, and turning insights into action
  • Effective analytical skills, business acumen and organizational skills
  • Exudes accountability, ownership, empathy and a passion about the problem their products solve and displays empathy and positivity when met with a challenge 

Impact You'll Make:

This role is part of the Global Solutions (solid) and Diversified Markets (dotted) organizations and is responsible for supporting a robust, competitive and commercially successful suite of products, across all product domains (e.g. fraud, credit, marketing, etc.).  The Diversified Markets business is our business focused on emerging market segments including retail & e-commerce, telecommunications, healthcare, government, media and more.  These industries are experiencing rapid technological advancements, and our solutions can assist in every aspect of the customer lifecycle to address customer needs and limit organizational risk.

  • Represent Global Solutions on the EVP of Diversified Markets' extended leadership team, acting as the “chief product officer” to coordinate market product needs, and drive solutions/IP into Diversified Markets.
  • Recruit, coach, develop and retain talent within the Diversified Markets Solutions team
  • Coordinate alignment of Diversified Markets 3-Year strategic plans with Solutions plans to drive organization alignment against TransUnion’s highest potential growth opportunities
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of our Solutions’ portfolios, product use cases, and internal capabilities to support strategic fit analysis, solution consulting and project management for large or complex and M&A opportunities which cross-product lines or cannot be satisfied by the off-the-shelf portfolio of solutions
  • Foster strong internal networks and build collaborative relationships across departments to drive organizational success and enhance team synergy.
  • Conduct hands-on discovery with clients to understand business processes and needs, capture requirements, and map critical business issues to TransUnion existing solutions and capabilities.
  • Shepherd complex product opportunities from discovery to proposal, bringing all relevant stakeholders (global solutions, engineering, legal & compliance, sales, etc.) together to develop a compelling proposal, estimate costs and define delivery requirements
  • Improve internal processes to enhance customer satisfaction and align product enablement and delivery
  • Develop business cases and advocate for investment in partnership with Diversified Markets
  • Partner with Diversified Markets to develop business cases and advocate for investment as needed
  • Serve as a thought leader and evangelist for both external and internal audiences

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $193,500.00 - $406,500.00 *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
