VICE PRESIDENT, CLIENT SERVICES (F/M/D)

This role is initially offered on a freelance basis, with the option to transition into a permanent position. Role is 80% remote but x1 day a week the candidate will be required to work onsite in an office located Frankfurt. 

Reports to: Managing Director

Scope:

As VP, Client Services (m/f/d), you will take the lead in managing one of our large international healthcare accounts. You will not only lead the account but also act as the primary connection between the client team in Germany and the core agency team in New York City. Your main responsibilities include ensuring high-quality client service across different markets and facilitating effective communication between global and regional stakeholders.

You will serve as the main contact for the client, demonstrating proactive and solutions-oriented approaches, and maintaining a consistent presence. Regular onsite visits with the client are an important part of your role. Additionally, you will lead global status meetings and core strategic alignment sessions in collaboration with colleagues from various functions.

Internally, you lead by example—establishing effective processes, ensuring highquality execution, and supporting your team’s development. Your focus will be on building sustainable, long-term client relationships and increasing profitability through strategic management and operational efficiency.

Education / Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare agency environment
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, preferably across multiple regions, and working with global clients
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex, integrated campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients to lead a cross-functional launch involving with all stakeholders
  • Expertise in omnichannel marketing and cross-functional collaboration
  • Native-level proficiency in English, fluency in German is an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage international client relationships
  • Act as a liaison between the Germany based client team and the NYC-based global team 
  • Ensure strategic and executional excellence across all campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain a regular on-site presence with the client and attend key meetings 
  • Drive financial performance, including revenue growth and profitability
  • Support onboarding and professional development of new team members
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and promote best practices across teams
