The Opportunity:
Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and experienced VP & CFO, Digital Business, DBU FP&A, to lead financial management for its rapidly growing global Digital Business Unit. This role serves as a trusted strategic finance partner to the Digital Business Unit Executive Vice President and their leadership team, driving financial performance, strategic growth initiatives, and operational efficiency across a global footprint.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Act as the primary finance business partner for the EVP of the Digital Business Unit, providing strategic financial and operational analysis to inform key business decisions and influence outcomes.

  • Performance Management: Lead budgeting, multi-year planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for the Digital Business Unit. Drive performance management in support of 20%+ annual growth targets, analyze actuals vs. budget, and identify risks/opportunities with a focus on margin segmentation and mix of recurring revenue.

  • Process & System Transformation: Accountable for finance leadership in key improvement projects focused on forecasting, customer-facing systems, and tool evolution including Oracle Project Management implementation. Drive efficiency improvements and transformation initiatives globally as key interconnection point across the Digital leadership team.

  • Capital Allocation & Cash Management: Oversee annual investment budgets, including M&A, partnerships, and product development spend - in particular around Digital Experience Platform software. Analyze working capital and labor capitalization cycles to ensure efficient capital allocation and cash management.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, develop, and coach a dynamic team of FP&A professionals, including oversight of dotted-line reports across regional finance teams and within Controllership and Accounting.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships and influence across diverse teams and levels, leading cross-functional/cross-divisional projects amplified by the reliance regional P&L owners have on growing Digital revenue in their markets.

  • M&A Support: Support the M&A process by assessing potential acquisitions, supporting due diligence and negotiations, and providing post-close support.

  • Executive Communication: Create executive-level presentations that distill complex financial topics into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

The Ideal Candidate Characteristics & Credentials

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA highly preferred.

● Experience:

  • 15+ years of progressive financial experience, including budget, forecast, and business analysis support within a large, global, matrixed corporation.

  • Mix of Corporate, Business Unit, and Operational Finance roles.

  • Experience in technology/digital industries is strongly preferred.

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, transaction modeling, and deal negotiation.

● Leadership: Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams across various levels and locations.

● Location: Seeking candidates based in USA and Eastern and/or Central Time Zones

● Skills:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to synthesize large data sets and provide insightful analysis.

  • Ability to build partnerships, influence decisions, and work collaboratively. ○ Advanced proficiency in Oracle enterprise management applications or equivalent.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. ○ Proactive in anticipating barriers/opportunities and driving solutions.

Reasonably expected salary range: $219,800.00 - $293,000.00
