Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative analytics and modeling projects.

  • Create documentation for all activities and works with Technology staff in design of any system to run models developed.

  • Develop requirements to address data issues and tests solutions in collaboration with data and technology teams within our organization.

  • Understand changing regulatory capital framework and its impact.

  • Analyze regulatory capital results, interpret regulatory requirements in the context of a business problem, develop solutions and execute implementation.

  • Foster relationships with partners in capital management, business partners and finance to resolve capital questions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematical Finance, Economics, or related: and

  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.

  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Assessing Financial products and system flows to provide creative solutions and facilitate workflow;

  • Addressing issues and coordinating with team members to come up with improvement recommendations and solutions;

  • Analyzing and working on queries using SQL to create financial estimates, tables, views, fine tuning, and procedures;

  • Performing financial modelling utilizing data mining techniques to identify opportunities and make recommendations to assist management in controlling losses and increasing profitability;

  • Defining systems scope, objectives and functionality based on user input and assessing business processes and industry requirements; and,

  • Performing quantitative analysis, simplify and explain impacts of updates/ changes in complex technical calculations.
