Accountable for building a structure and strategy for development and management of artificial intelligence and generative AI for the enterprise that provides a robust data-driven organization, including creating a centralized function and guardrails for business entrepreneurship. Drives impactful data science across multiple areas to lead growth, efficiency and risk reduction in line with key company priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic direction for artificial intelligence, with a focus on generative AI, across the enterprise. Develop and implement guardrails and best practices for business units and staff groups to ensure effective and ethical AI deployment. Work with the business, finance, and enterprise risk management to evaluate the value of use cases and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Lead a team of data scientists and collaborate with various business functions in a matrixed environment to design, rapidly prototype, develop, and test analytics solutions. Ensure the adoption of best practices in model development, model risk management, and work closely with business partners to implement and measure the effectiveness of advanced analytics and AI solutions.

  • Champion the adoption of a test-and-learn methodology for deploying analytics solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in financial services operations.

  • Lead and coordinate the activities of the Data and Analytics Council to address major enterprise-level topics such as data governance, tool management, resource allocation, and talent development. Present recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) representatives on the Data & Analytics Executive Council.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with counterparts in finance, risk, technology, and other analytics resources across the organization to ensure cohesive and aligned AI strategies.

  • Provide expert consultation to business management on the strategic use of analytics and AI. Advise on best practices, identify opportunities for leveraging AI to drive business value, and support the integration of AI solutions into business processes to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business consulting, driving strategic initiatives and fostering innovation within an organization.

  • Demonstrated expertise in data, analytics and data management

  • 7-10 years experience in consulting, strategy or analytics roles.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing AI and advanced analytics solutions

  • Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services experience is preferred

  • Data science related master's degree or MBA

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $230,000 - $275,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
