The Compensation Technology team is responsible for the review, configuration, and testing of internal commission plan requirements into our calculation engines. The team supports the hand-off of those implemented changes to the Compensation Operations group for ongoing processing.

Humana is seeking a Senior Configuration Professional to support our commission area.  In this role, you will evaluate the impact of requested changes and work closely with stakeholders to configure the commission calculation rules along with any needed reporting. The ideal candidate would have experience configuring complex payment calculations and reports using the Varicent ICM software applications. 

The Senior Configuration Professional oversees system configuration and develops fixes for defects. Research configuration requests and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Review inbound stories that are submitted for system updates
  • Determine impacts and configuration of the changes requested
  • Configures system calculated commissions from the user stories provided
  • Corrects defects to ensure pay calculations and statements are accurate

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

  • 2 or more years of configuring Varicent ICM software applications

  • 5 or more years of experience designing and configuring complex software applications

  • Ability to learn new platforms quickly

  • Isolates, reproduces, and corrects defects

  • Develops configuration procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$97,900 - $133,500 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
