Echo Global Logistics is looking for a UX Designer with experience in enterprise design, design systems, user research, low fidelity prototyping and high-fidelity UI designs. You will report to the UX Team Lead while collaborating with all members of the product and user experience team. The role will be focused on helping to build and advance our transportation management software (TMS). You will help support our vision of quality, scalability, performance, and functionality and will help build a world class technology platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to define roadmaps and feature requirements 
  • Create workflows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
  • Work closely with front end developers and QA engineers to bring product to production.
  • Work with strategic analytics to test product features, understand user trends 
  • Collaborate with fellow UX Designers and Front-End Engineers on establishing and maintaining design system components 
  • Be an engaged member of the UX Design team, working to improve our output across our internal and external products.  
  • Participate in and contribute to the UX Design community through collaborative practices

Position Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer on a Product Team 
  • High level proficiency in industry standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe, Lucid, and Zeplin 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable leading conversations with senior leadership across the organization 
  • A portfolio that displays strong problem-solving abilities, highlights the candidate’s design and decision-making process, and measures the impact of their previous design work
  • Experience working across screen sizes and an understanding of the principles of responsive design and the 8 pt grid 
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Experience in logistics industry is a plus

Compensation

$84,950.00-124,800.00 per year

This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.
