About the role
This role reports to the UX Practice Lead. As a UX Designer you will work to advance and apply people-centric design methods to create purposeful and innovative UX design solutions for Auxo's clients across a range of industries, especially in Insurance and Financial Services.
What you'll do
- Design and develop UX designs for end-users across Auxo's clients.
- Analyze and design solutions for products and services by helping to improve and create models, concepts, and design elements (e.g., user flows, scenarios, personas, interactions, content, visuals, etc.) following established design objectives, principles, and standards.
- Participate in conversations with Auxo’s customers, interpret vague input, and drive clarity with senior business stakeholders.
- Drive UX initiatives within customer implementation projects, setting deliverables & timelines, managing multiple initiatives and leading prioritization with stakeholders.
- Understand business objectives and how they relate to user experience, while clearly communicating the rationale.
- Leverage and use repeatable tools, templates, process documentation, and communication plans for various programs and efforts (i.e. Figma, Canva, XD, etc.)
- Be able to create end-to-end workflows, including user journeys, task analysis, wireframing, prototyping, and evaluative research methods for clients.
- Collaborate on or participate in research on user behavior, and translate them into user stories, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Present design proposals to team leaders and clients.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic/web design, UX, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of professional UX design experience in software development including flow mapping, wire framing, and user testing.
- Professional experience working in the Insurance and/or Financial Services industry is a plus.
- A personality of self-motivation and a demonstrated ‘go-getter’ mentality.
- Strong skills in a variety of design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Experience in prototyping and comfortable working in a highly agile environment.
- Knowledge of creating and maintaining design systems.

- Contractor may be hired as W2.
- This role is not eligible for sponsorship at this time.
- The role may require infrequent travel to client sites.
- Team members are expected to be available to work ~8:30am - 5:30pm EST M-F.
