The University Relations Program Coordinator is a key role that supports both the recruitment of top talent from campuses and the management of early talent programs. This role will partner with multiple business units within our organization, across several different locations to provide a seamless experience for candidates, summer interns, and Spectrum Scholars, maintaining efficient processes, and supporting the overall goals of Spectrum's early talent strategy.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • In partnership with the University Relations Program Manager, organizes Summer Internship and Spectrum Scholars events, such as kickoff conferences, leadership summits, networking events, workshops, and program-specific training sessions for up to 300 participants across five locations.
  • Coordinates all logistical aspects of campus recruiting events such as career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.
  • Delivers training to all campus event participants, including recruiters, hiring managers, campus ambassadors and ensures they are fully briefed and equipped with necessary materials and information to represent Spectrum on campus.
  • Manages the allocation of marketing resources, including recruiting materials, promotional items, and training resources, to support both campus recruiting and early talent programs; working with third-party vendors and the recruitment marketing team to ensure brand compliance.
  • Monitors and tracks expenses related to campus recruiting events and early talent program activities, ensuring adherence to the budget.
  • Continuously seeks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of campus recruiting and early talent program operations implementing feedback from candidates, recruiters, and program participants to refine processes and enhance the overall experience.
  • Manages the Student Campus Ambassador (SCA) program which includes the selection, training, and day-to-day management of ten SCAs across five campuses.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Demonstrated desire to provide high level of customer service to candidates and internal clients
  • Proven ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to collaborate virtually
  • Effective time management, communication and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office

Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or combination of education and experience
