- Review and process mortgage insurance requests
- Reconcile weekly and monthly reports to validate volume with mortgage insurance partners and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage debt monitoring orders and reporting through various vendors
- Review undisclosed liabilities for refinance and purchase transactions to comply with Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA) loan quality initiative (LQI) in order to mitigate repurchase liability
- Upload prior approval packages to Veteran’s Administration (VA) portal for review.
- Upload credit underwriting packages and appraisals to Jumbo investors
- Complete review of denial recommendations from sales teams prior to submission to underwriting
- Monitor reporting to ensure RESPA requirements are adhered to
- Other duties as directed.

Required education and experience. Examples below.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two (2) years of residential loan underwriting experience
- DE or SAR certifications preferred.
Required knowledge, skills, and ability. Examples below.
- Knowledge of Agency and Non-Agency underwriting guidelines and products through proficient use and review of manuals, procedures, memos and training materials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced mortgage environment
