The Opportunity
As an Underground Technologies Specialist Intern, you will work alongside our technical and commercial teams to support MAPEI’s underground construction product line. You will gain hands-on experience through customer-site visits, field trials, technical training, laboratory work, and sales-support activities. This experience may lead to future opportunities in technical support or commercial technical sales.

  • Support technical assistance for customers, including on-site visits, hands-on training, and technical presentations.
  • Support product sales, job-site activities, and customer training sessions.
  • Participate in field trials, product demonstrations, competitive analysis, and special projects.
  • Assist with laboratory testing and evaluation of products and materials.
  • Help prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical, commercial, laboratory, and field teams.
     

The Program Details

  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
  • Internship duration: May–August 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Rotational experience combining office, laboratory, factory, and practical fieldwork
  • Remote, travel-based role located in Salt Lake City, Utah or West Chicago, IL

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Civil, Mining, Geological Engineering, or a related field (juniors and seniors preferred)
